The brand new year is here and it is time to welcome 2022 with positivity and enthusiasm. A new year brings with it fresh opportunities, possibilities and signifies a new start. And whilst things might not look perfect yet in terms of the pandemic, a positive outlook can go a long way in making 2022 a year for growth and development.
As we grow more resilient and get ready to withstand the challenges life throws at us, we are hopeful that things will get better. With hope we also realise our strengths and embrace our weaknesses and with a small dose of inspiration, steps moving forward just gets easier. We therefor want to share some updates, specials and news with you from our partners.

The “Heart & Home” of Wolwedans
Whilst not all Wolwedans camps have been operational the teams have been very busy on ground and more specifically at the ‘heart” of the home. Recycle plants, veggie gardens, planting new trees, buildings with plastic bottles, carpentry being done, mechanics hard at work. You can name it and they have been doing it. With The Arid Eden project the framework is set in place to build a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive tourism and conservation economy. People are at the heart of this strategy and they foster it through training at the desert-based camp with a variety of projects running. To learn more about what they are doing and how they are creating change visit www.arideden.org
