The “Heart & Home” of Wolwedans

Whilst not all Wolwedans camps have been operational the teams have been very busy on ground and more specifically at the ‘heart” of the home. Recycle plants, veggie gardens, planting new trees, buildings with plastic bottles, carpentry being done, mechanics hard at work. You can name it and they have been doing it. With The Arid Eden project the framework is set in place to build a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive tourism and conservation economy. People are at the heart of this strategy and they foster it through training at the desert-based camp with a variety of projects running. To learn more about what they are doing and how they are creating change visit
