Chiwani is reaching for the Stars with Suites
My recent stay at Chiwani Safari Camps confirmed my love for Damaraland, its beautiful landscapes and for Chiwani. To top it all, I was spoilt with a stay in the brand new luxury Rhino Suite at Camp Kipwe. What a treat! Opening your own private “rock door” that leads you to your private section of the Kipwe hill. We were embraced by an opulent lounge, with spacious sofas and coffee tables. The interiors were complemented by a mouth-watering selection of drinks in the mini bar only to be served in the most elegant selection of glasses. From the lounge you then enter the sophisticated bedroom, with a pure invite to lie down immediately. The interior is so luxurious and the smallest attention to details wherever you look.
To sit on your private veranda and soak up endless vista with ancient boulders and golden grass is almost indescribable. Your private dip pool takes care of scorching summer temperatures. What a bliss and what a spoil. A stay to be remembered and thank you to the very friendly Camp Kipwe team and Chiwani.

Machaba Kiri Camp now with mega picture material and surely a story for your own newsletter
In case you missed it: On the 1st of June Machaba Safaris opened Kiri Camp. This family friendly camp situated in the Delta offers a combination of both game drives and water activities. It is based on a private concession, and the activities will take you to some of the more remote areas in the delta. A motorboat ride during peak flood times or a quiet glide on a mokoro through the water lilies where wildlife can be viewed from water level height is part of the experience. The wildlife in the Kiri area is diverse and plentiful. Please visit this link to see the updated images for Kiri Camp. The opening special offer for Kiri is still valid until end October. The camp looks magnificent and seems to reach for the stars in the Delta. A new gem in the Machaba crown? Yet in true Machaba style, the authentic safari ambiance is the key element to their philosophy.
