Kiri Camp is set on the banks of the Kiri River in a private concession, providing a luxury getaway to the world famous Okavango Delta. The camp boasts some of the best game viewing in Africa, with a variety of species present across a range of wet and dry habitats. This part of the Okavango is unique in that it receives a large accumulation of water from the annual floods, creating huge floodplains of shallow water which are ideal for a mokoro ride. Black and white rhino can be found in the Moremi section of this conservation area. It’s a great spot for encountering the Big Five as well as wild dog packs.More Info Video WETU

To keep our eco-footprint light, we use energy-efficient fridges in our kitchens, which we turn off at night. We also use coal cold rooms and cellars to store heat-sensitive items. The sustainable operation of Machaba Saffaris is based on solar technology, biological water treatment and residue-free waste management.
Accommodations at the camp consist of eight luxury double tents and two family tents. The canvas tents are set on raised wooden decks with panoramic views of the Kiri Plains. Each tent is accessible via a natural walkway.
