Mowani Mountain Camp

The word Mowani means "Place of God", and here you will find the true meaning of the words – peace and tranquillity. Great care has been taken with the design of the recreational areas, giving the impression of an African Village. Mowani is one of the jewels in the dramatic scenery of the granite rock formations of Damaraland in Namibia. The chic camp is nearly invisible for passers-by, yet offer splendid vistas into the surrounding plains of the Aba Huab River and the volcanic mountains of the area. This region of Namibia is not only famous for its Unesco World Heritage Site Twyfelfontein with its thousands of rock gravings, but also for its Petrified Forest, the Organ Pipes as well as the Desert Elephants.
